To help support the dynamic programs offered to McHenry County youth, sustained community
involvement is needed. Big Brothers Big Sisters of McHenry County holds
many special fundraising events throughout the year.
Community members may show their support directly through active
participation or indirectly through sponsorships and contributions.
- Swing for Kids' Sake is a golf outing that will be held Wednesday, August 6, 2008 at Crystal Woods Golf Club. The event includes 18 holes, a cart, lunch, dinner, catered by Bonefish Grill and a silent auction. For more information please call 815-385-3855.
- Fall Benefit Dinner & Auction is a casual, festive dinner and auction event that will be held on Friday, October 3 at the Lakeside Legacy Arts Park in Crystal Lake. The 2008 event will be catered by Bonefish Grill. For more information please call 815-385-3855.
- Bowl for Kids' Sake is a bowling event that will be held Sunday, March 2 or March 9, 2008 at the Westlane Family Bowling Center in Crystal Lake. There is also league bowling available and teachers or students can challenge one another from different schools throughout McHenry County.
- Raffle: Our 2008 raffle will be a Hawaiian vacation for two! Tickets go on sale July 1 and the winner will be drawn on Friday, September, 5th.
