Take one lunch-time out of your week to laugh, talk or play a board game with your Little Brother or Little Sister. It doesn't take much to make a positive difference to a child that will last their life time. Anyone can volunteer; employees, retired folks, people with flexible daytime hours and parents not employed outside of the home. You do not need any special experience or skills, you just need to be yourself and ready to make a difference.
How does it work?
You meet with your Little Brother or Little Sister at their school once a week during the child's lunch. Together you eat lunch, talk, read or play games. Employees who volunteer as Bigs return to work recharged, knowing that their time spent has made a tremendous difference. You will have a Big Brother Big Sister staff member working with you to act as a liaison with the school and to provide support to ensure a positive experience for both you and the child.
Benefits for Bigs:
