McHenry County, Illinois-October 20, 2011. Join us for an evening to benefit at-risk children in McHenry County. Big Brothers Big Sisters of McHenry County’s Annual Fall Benefit and Dinner will be held on Friday, November 11th at Boulder Ridge Country Club in Lake in the Hills.
Our guest speaker this year is Lorrie Sullenberger, wife of Captain Chelsey “Sully” Sullenberger, the pilot who famously landed his plane in the Hudson River in 2009, has been involved with Big Brothers Big Sisters for over 25 years. Join us to hear the journey of Lorrie and her Little Sister, Sara. Lorrie and Sara’s story of unconditional support and reciprocity is a perfect example of what Big Brothers Big Sisters is all about.
