Afterschool Mentoring

Have an impact at the end of the school day

Big Brothers Big Sisters conducts after school programs at elementary and middle schools across McHenry County. After school programs differ from our other mentoring programs since the “Bigs” in the program are high school students. Littles in elementary and middle school meet with their high school Big one time per week for an hour after school in a group setting with other Bigs and Littles. The pair can do homework, talk about school, play board games, or shoot hoops in the school gym.
