Graduate Social Work (M.S.W.) Internship
Students who have acquired a Bachelor’s Degree and are working toward a Master’s Degree in Social Work (M.S.W.) for internship opportunities in mentoring, school-based prevention, crisis intervention, delinquency intervention, child welfare, substance abuse intervention, and mental health assessment/counseling services.
Undergraduate Program Internship
Students obtaining their Bachelors degree in social work, psychology, or other human services related majors can intern with Big Brothers Big Sisters to learn and understand case management by assisting program staff. Intern case management includes but is not limited to:
- Referrals, inquiry/orientation
- Eligibility determination
- Match recommendation
- Record keeping
- Maintenance of confidential records

Public Relations/Marketing Internship
Provides an opportunity for undergraduate students with a career interest in public relations, marketing, communications, or event planning to observe and/or participate in all management and administrative support functions required to execute a communications/marketing program for a non-profit organization. This includes media relations, donor and volunteer communications, special events, and media relations.
Fund Development Internship
Interns work closely with our Fund Development Department primarily focused on Special Events management. There will be opportunities to learn about and participate in different facets of Fund Development, including donor cultivation and stewardship, sponsorship relations, and volunteer and database management.
